What makes your world go round?
Definitely coffee and music. But most importantly, I would say positive people. Especially my family members, friends, teachers, mentors, etc.- their energy and what they have accomplished inspires and motivates me to work towards the best version of me.
How long have you been involved in the arts? What type?
I had my first taste of dance in about first grade (I am currently a senior in high school). I took a few community classes a week and it was more of a therapeutic time for me. Nothing serious. I say I started my actual professional dance training 4 years ago at Anaheim Ballet.
What do you like most about your craft(s)?
Dance enables you to find and lose yourself at the same time. There is nothing better than movement and making art with your body.
Famous artist/historical figure/celebrity (or a few) you love and model yourself after
Well Drew Jacoby, a fabulous and captivating dancer, was basically one of reasons I decided to delve into this dance journey 4 years ago. I wanted to see how far I could go in this art form and she inspires me to do so. I also really enjoy Ellen DeGeneres. Her show is like a vice. A day is incomplete without laughter.

What inspires you to create?
The feeling that I get when I experience a piece of great art is unlike any other feeling in the world. It motivates you, inspires you, and makes you feel complete. I feel that everybody deserves to feel that.
Ultimate life goal
To be successful in whatever I do. I know it is pretty generic but right now that is my goal- I guess I am still trying to figure out my ultimate life goal. On the lighter note, I have not been stung by a bee yet and I would like to keep that going. :)
What most surprised you most about THE THREAD 2013?
I went into THE THREAD 2013 without knowing anyone. It was an amazing feeling to be accepted into that space and to create together. I went in with no expectations and came out with joy and a feeling of accomplishing a great piece of art.
