Favorite Quote
“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” – Oscar Wilde
What makes your world go round?
Time. Time to discover about life and think about life and read about life. Life is pretty neat. And living a life is the next best thing to chocolate ice cream.
How long have you been involved in the arts? What type?
I’ve been moving since I was four but I started loving it when I was eight or nine. Between dance classes I likewise played the piano and the violin at the Tchaicovsky School of Music for a couple of years. I’ve also never taken a formal art class but I’ve spent my time playing around with little paints and pens.
What do you like most about your craft(s)?
Art is such a blessing because there simply isn’t a wrong answer; artistry doesn’t even come close to possessing a “right answer”. That’s the beauty of it all.
Famous artist/historical figure/celebrity (or a few) you love and model yourself after
My grandparents. They’re a pretty big deal.
Hometown
Walnut, CA
What inspires you to create?
The endless examination of abstract human behavior and interaction. Good songs are nice. Some empty space too.
Ultimate life goal
Finding me.
What most surprised you most about THE THREAD 2013?
The close connection and relationship achieved in a few hours of dancing was phenomenal!
